England x Reader A broken Promise and Never

You were enemies with Arthur since you were a child. It started when you complemented his
cooking when he was still 8.


--- Flash Back ---

You were waiting for Arthur to be done withhis cooking until he called you.
"Hey ______ scones are ready."
"Yeah." You said as you grabbed his freshly baked and burnt scones. You took a bite and it tasted horribly. It tasted like charcoal and it makes your stomach hurt.
"Hey Arthur this scone taste aweful." You said as you spitted the left over from your mouth.
"______ that is not a good thing to say. And if you don't like it why don't you cook your own scones."
"Fine at least it tastes better than your burnt and taste like charcoal scones."
"That's not lady like."
"I am not supposed to be one." You said as you got out from his house. It all started from this.
when you both are in school you always fight when you see each other.

For now you were walking in the hallway walking to your locker. Luckily Arthur's locker was beside you and everyday you always meet and fight. You went there and found Arthur preparing his things. You went to open your locker and waited for him to say something bad to you cause he always started it. Then it didn't come. HE got up and waled away. You stand up and called him.
"Hey Arthur. Cat got your tounge. Heh." You said cause he did;nt insult you like always.
"No, because I am only waisting my time if I talk to you." He said as he walked away.
You felt lonely in your heart. You shouldn't feel like this but it felt like it.


--- 15 years old --- Valentine's Day ---

You were walking towards your locker like always and saw Arthur there preparing his things as always. Then a girl went to him and gave him chocolates which he gladly accepted. He smiled and thank the girl. The girl was blushing madly and walked away happy. Your heart ache and it was a new thing for you. You went to your locker and prepared your things for the classes.

"No one has given you something today. Am I correct." He said.
"Shut up."
"As I thought."
"Just shut up."
"Because you're ugly and aren't you."
"Shut up!." You shouted. You stood up directly causing him to jump back. "If you are the last man in the world I promise to myslef that I will never like or love you." You said as you run in the girl's comefort room and cried there.


--- Arthur POV ---

There were many people who watched the fight. Arthur was so angry and sad because he cause you pain. He only want you to love him back. He fight and teases you everyday so he can get your attention. He loved you and cherished the memories when you both were still friends and even the both of you were interacting. He can never forgive himslef for hurting you like that. He went to his class wondering what happened to you.


--- Back to you ---

You were in the ladies room for sometime and cried there. You were looking yourself in the mirror. What he said hurt you. You never felt like this before. You heard the bell rang and went to your class.


--- 17 Years old ---

You looked in the mirror of your room. You looked thin and a little bit pale. YOu have done this to yourself cause Arthur told you that you were fat and you did what he wanted you to e. To be a very thin person. You wore your clothes which was a little too big for you and nobody noticed you cause of the size. You stopped interacting with Arthur for 1 to 2 years and it have worked. If he tried to talk to you you go to the other way or run fast or just ignored him. You stared at the mirror for the last time and went your way to school. YOu have promise yourself that you would never like or love Arthur and it was failing miserably. You loved him for the last years he was with you but it never stopped. It kept growing. You arrived at school and went to your locker. You saw Arthur but ignored him completely until he grabbed your arm.

"_______" he said.
You looked at him.
"I'm sorry."
You continued to stare at him.
"I'm sorry for doing this to you. You have grown very thin and pale. I have noticed this changes last week and I am sorry for doing it." He bowed while crying.
"Arthur I'm sorry too."
"For what love?" He looked at you.
"I promise to never fall in love with you but I can't.' You cried and slid down on the floor.
"Don't worry love cause I love you too. I am sorry for everything and I will make it up to you."
"Really?"
"Yes."


The both of you got up and went in to your classes. Today was wonderful. Arthur have been beside you for the whole day. He checked your food so that you can be healthy and being careful so you would not be hurt. It turned out so great and you could never asked for any other thing besides his love of course but he had already given it. You love him and he loved you.
